Prepare

Preparing For The Studio.

Many artists do not know what to expect when going to a professional studio. We understand. It can be an unnerving
process if you are not prepared. We do our best to put you at ease but we also encourage you to prepare.

Know Your Song(s)

We may FLIP (help you with production) your song, however it is a good idea to be very familiar with your material before
recording it. The more practice you can put into your music, the tighter your performance will be.

Practice With A Click

We HIGHLY recommend that each individual practice with a click track (ESPECIALLY THE DRUMMER). Few exceptions will
arise but chances are, your project should NOT be one of them. Trust us, PRACTICE WITH A CLICK.

Be Open To Suggestions

We can truly help you with production, but we can only do so if you are open to critique and suggestions. We will do our
best for you, and we want you to be happy. We can and do help MANY artists and we encourage you to allow us to do our
job.

Bring Decent Gear

Our studios have extra gear for artists who do not have decent recording gear but if you insist on using your gear, MAKE
SURE IT IS DECENT. Yes, we know you think your ZBT cymbals and Crate amp are HOT but unless you want to severely
limit the potential of your project, be open to using different gear.

Make Sure Your Gear Is Ready

Even though you have a great American P-Bass, if the intonation is not set, it's going to sound out of tune. Yes, we can
help you with some of the smaller issues but we would rather put time into production of your recording than fixing your
guitar.
